Rich Chocolate Cake

Pre-heat oven at 325 degrees

Ingredients:

For Cake Mix
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup self rising four
1 sick margarine, softened
1 can Hershey’s chocolate syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Bake at 325 for 25 - 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

For Icing
1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
1/3 cup EVAPORATED milk
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Combine milk, sugar and margarine in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook, stirring often, for 1-2 minutes after it boils.

Remove from heat and add chocolate morsels. Beat the morsels into the milk mixture until creamy and all the morsels are dissolved.

Pour over “hot” cake. Allow the icing to cover the cake completely, spreading only to evenly coat.

The icing will settle as the cake cools. Cut and serve only after the cake is thoroughly cooled.
