The Vietnam Conflict lasted from 1959 to 1975. We tend to forget that many of our declared POWs (Prisoners Of War) made it home. Some escaped and some were returned. Nevertheless, their existence as POWs were filled with horror, brutality and hell; their days in captivity obviously seemed endless.

These men and women are members of our armed forces and civilians. They carry these living nightmares forever.

It is here that I pay homage and thank them for their service to our country and our freedom.

For those who have yet to come home,
from all wars and conflicts,
to walk or rest on American soil,
we hang tough for you!!
