Chocolate Pudding Cake

Ingredients:
1 pyrex baking dish (square or oblong) 1 box chocolate pudding (cooked or instant - but instant works better)
1 chocolate, vanilla or marble pound cake
Whipped cream
Strawberries, raspberries, bananas (optional)

Prepare pudding according to directions.

Slice the cake in 1/2-inch slices. Line the bottom of the pyrex dish with cake.

Spoon pudding on top of cake layer.

Add another layer of cake -- do not press down on it....just place the cake on top.

Repeat the pudding and cake layering to the top of the dish. You should have 2-3 layers of cake and/or pudding.

Place the dish in the fridge until ready to serve.

Cut the cake into servings and place on dessert dish.

Top with whipped cream and serve.
If desired, spoon desired fruit to the side of the cake. Fruit is a nice touch to this quick and easy dessert, but is not necessary.
